Rosalia

Rosalia Vila (aka Rosalia) is a Spanish pop and flamenco singer. She has been a part of the fringes of traditional and popular music since she was a teenager, she has also delved into different genres such as hip-hop soul and trap. Pepe Habichuela has described her vocals as being sweet, sharp but also having a bit of bite. El Mal Querer gained her critical acclaim and commercial success when her debut album Los Angeles was released in the year 2017. It earned an award from the Latin Grammy Award for Best New Artist. In 2021, the song La Fama with The Weeknd came out. Motomami is her third album, featured songwriting collaborations between Cory Henry and James Blake. This set was released on March 20, 2022 following a Saturday Night Live performance featuring the track Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia has become the only Spanish artist to have performed in a solo performance on the show. Motomami was the only female in history to be the recipient of the Latin Album of the Year twice, in addition to three Latin Grammy Awards.
