Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson is the daughter of British lawyers Jacqueline Luesby (born in Paris) and Chris Watson (born in Paris). They moved to Oxfordshire when she was five years old and attended an academy called the Dragon School. At the age of six, Emma realized she would like to be an actress and for many years she studied at the Oxford Branch of Stagecoach Theatre Arts a part-time theater school, where she learned performing and singing.
